My apartment is full, like to the brim.
Recap if you missed it: I moved to Toronto from the east coast of Canada in March, but I left a lot of things and my 5 guinea pigs at home. This trip was to grab some stuff and my pigs and come back.
Anyway, I think I might have overcompensated on the stuff- cause now my 300 sq ft apartment is full of art supplies, trinkets, and all the things I need to house and keep my pigs happy.
Aka- I am back to being alittle to overencompered with things. I wish I were a minimalist. Sometimes I think it would take away a lot of my stress, but I am not. Instead, I am tripping over things, trying to find a place for them to belong. I think it will be okay, but I hope I don't have to move anytime soon cause that is going to be a nightmare.
But it does make it feel more like home. I feel like this is my place now, this is where I belong.
Let's talk about something that you are either really into or oblivious to.
FIFA is in North America, which is great. I don't follow soccer, but I think that the community that sports and teams bring together is so great.
What isn't great is how absolutely *fucked* living in the waterfront of Toronto is going to be. It is only like
I had to go to Ikea today to get some brackets for my wall, and it was swarming. Yes, it's tourist season- and my first one living in a metropolitan- but it felt busier.
Anyway, 2 days of cleaning, sorting out the pigs, and more cleaning, and I feel like a human again. Not perfect, but more functional.
Now just to make time to create more art.
i love that chicken so much !! ! !! and i agree sometimes if feels like being a minimalist could make my life easier but i love stuff so much ! i wouldn't be happy in a half empty beige house....
